Reinventing an iconic design using cutting-edge technology was the challenge at hand. The new product had to appeal to the loyal fan base of the classic WRT router, which had been in the market for over a decade and earned a reputation as the VW beetle of routers due to its ubiquity. The result was a router that sets the standard for serious home networking, offering faster speeds, greater reliability, and greater customization options. It draws a clear lineage to the classic wrt while being more awe-inspiring than any other router on the market.
